The team that represented the OSS in the Tournament At Hockley Golf Club
were:-

David Buckett Bob Stilwell Roy Andrews Richard Stilwell
The result was a draw between the OSS and the OTAs. As the OSS have been the
holders of the trophy for the past two years we will retain the cup.
Paddy Hine is the current Captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews,
probably the most prestigious appointment in amateur golf. At the match dinner he
spoke of his role for the year and enthralled all with stories of playing Augusta
National just before the Masters, a very rare and privileged opportunity.
Also present, and playing for the Old Tauntonians team, was David Harrison,
a recent past Captain of the R and A, making the match a very rare occasion to
have two such representatives.
The course and hospitality provided by The Hockley Club was appreciated by all
the players.
